We are looking to add an experienced canning / cellar person to our team, with a minimum of 1 year canning line / cellar experience preferred. You will be working and learning on our Wild Goose canning line and working in the cellar doing basic cellar work to include keg washing/filling. You will be playing an active part in our current growth and in the production of our sought-after beers. Starting wage is depending on experience with the potential of advancement opportunities after 90 days based on goals we will set together.
Qualifications:
General knowledge of the brewing process.
1 year canning line / cellar experience.
Extreme attention to detail.
Excellent communication, time management, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask effectively.
Understanding of OSHA and industry safety standards.
Commitment to quality, safety, and hard work.
Job Requirements:
Working on a Wild Goose Canning line.
Miscellaneous cellar operations including keg washing/ filling, order filling, dry hopping, CIP,
and general cleaning and sanitation.
Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
Forklift certification a plus (not required).
Job Responsibilities:
Working the canning line and all positions of the process.
Filling orders for the tasting rooms and local distribution.
Keg washing.
Keg filling.
Cleaning and sanitizing of beer lines, equipment and the general working areas in the cellar including floors, tank exteriors, parts, floor drains, filtration equipment, racks and containers.
Working Conditions:
Ability to work all shifts, including traditional work days, mid or swing shift and the occasional weekend if needed.
Capable of standing on your feet for long periods of time, up to 10 hours per day
Must have reliable transportation to work
Physical capability of regularly lifting up to 55 lbs to shoulder height and maneuvering 165 lbs, comfortable working at heights, in cramped spaces and awkward positions, and in hot or cold environments for an extended period of time
Ability to work in a noisy environment
Capable of following all safety procedures while working with potentially hazardous machinery, chemicals with the proper PPE and safeguards in place.
